Delivery & Returns

Where do you deliver to?

I currently ship to the UK, USA and Canada.

If you would like something shipped to another country please get in touch and I'll be happy to look into whether it would be possible.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 1-5 days from receipt of payment, unless the item is made to order or a pre-order. If you need an item by a specific date please get in touch and I will see what I can do.

Items in the UK are posted 1st class via Royal Mail with a delivery estimate of 1-3 days from the date of dispatch.

International orders are posted via Royal Mail International Standard delivery times vary but a good guide is 7 - 10 days, in some cases this can be longer, so please allow up to 14 business days for your order to arrive before getting in touch, weather, international incidents and customs can sometimes work against a speedy delivery.

Can my order be tracked?

The default shipping options I use unfortunately do not provide tracking. If you would like to add tracking to your order for an extra postage fee let me know by either getting in touch or adding a customer comment to your order and I can send you an additional invoice to cover the cost.

How do I return an item?

If you would like to return an item please contact me within 14 days of receipt to return your purchase (provided that the item is in it's original packaging and the same condition as when it was sent to you) and I will give you a refund upon receipt of the returned goods .

If the item is not returned in it's original condition the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. When returning an item the cost of postage is the responsibility of the buyer.

My order's got damaged in transit what should I do?

If the item(s) have been damaged in transit inform me within 14 days of its arrival with the details including photographs and I can arrange either a refund or replacement where available.

Damaged goods may be requested to be returned back to Loadofolbobbins for review if this
should be the case postage cost will be reimbursed after the item(s) have arrived back.

General

How is your jewellery made?

Each item starts out as one of my original illustrations, I then send my artwork and designs off to my manufacturer here in the UK to get printed onto wood veneered MDF.

Once I get them back I then assemble everything by hand myself and send them on their way to you when you order.

Where are your products manufactured?

Everything in my shop is manufactured here in the UK and sent out from my studio in Portsmouth, UK.

Do you take commissions?

Yes I do, I am always happy to receive enquiries from customers about special pieces, including pet portraits, favourite animals and even embroideries. You can find more details on my commissions page.

What metal do you use in your jewellery findings?

My necklaces all have antique bronze cable chains that are made from iron alloy and are Lead & Nickel Free.

My earring findings are silver plated and are also lead and nickel free.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Follow these few tips to help keep your jewellery in tip top condition...

  • Avoid contact with water. Removing before washing, swimming etc is advised.
  • Do not sleep in your jewellery.
  • Avoid spraying perfumes or hairspray around your jewellery.
  • Try not to leave your jewellery in direct sunlight. Storing it in a box or drawer is a great idea.
